Hi users
---------
This is a little docfile for I2Lw_GUI. (Imagine to LightWave Graphical
User Interface)
I2Lw_GUI should be put in your WbStartup-directory.
With the tooltypes of the icon, you can give it some standard paths to look
for Imagine and Lightwave objects, as well as some filename suffixes.
Tooltypes are:
I2LWNAME = where you store the shell-command I2Lw e.g. c:I2lW
IMAGINEDIR = path where you store your Imagine-objects e.g. work:gfx/imagine/objs
LIGHTWAVEDIR = path for LightWave-objects (when converted from Imagine)
IMAGINESUFFIX = filename suffix of Imagine-objects
when your objects are named object.img this should be
IMAGINESUFFIX=.img
LIGHTWAVESUFFIX = filename suffix for LightWave-objects, mostly .lwob
And of course all the standard tooltypes, e.g. DONOTWAIT, etc.
When I2LW_GUI is running, you can find a menu-entry in the Tools
menu on your workbench. Select it to activate the GUI.
In the GUI, you can fill in the source (Imagine) and destination (Lightwave)
object-filename, and a surfaces-suffix.
Select Convert to do the transformation (make sure the tooltypes are set
correctly), Hide to put it in the menu again, and Remove to remove I2LW_GUI
out of your memory (but not from your disk, naturally :)
That's it, Enjoy!
